Tips for Radiant Summer Skin

The intense summer sun can be brutal on skin, from painful sunburns to sweaty breakouts and heat rashes. We compiled some easy tips to avoid these common complexion pitfalls and keep your skin looking prime and sublime all summer long.

Apply SPF all day, every day— rain or shine.

Be sure your SPF is non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t cause comedones (pimples). The number one skin ager is the sun, so avoiding sun damage is vital to maintaining the look and feel of youthful skin. (Ask your local stockist about Environ’s sunscreen!)

Don’t let sweat drag you down.

Sweat traps bacteria, leading to pesky pimples and rashes. Immediately change out of sweaty clothes and shower off sweat to keep your skin in the clear.

Add a hint of mint.

(This is why drinking a glass of water feels cooler after chewing mint gum—the menthol in mint triggers the cold-sensitive nerves in your mouth.)
